About MMIWR Indian Country
MMIWR (Missing and Murdered Indigeous Women and Relatives) Indian Country is a 501(c)(3) non-profit oragnization created to provide advocacy, awareness, prevention-oriented resources, and legal support for relatives of missing or murdered indigenous people in Indian Country.
MMIWR was founded by Darlene Gomez, an attorney with decades of experience Indian Law and Complex Family Law, who has provided over $4 Million in pro bono casework on behalf of missing and murdered Indigenous women and relatives.
